    Type ranges separated by semicolons, for example 1-3; 4-6; 7. Or choose every N pages to cut the document into equal sections automatically.

    Questions about this tool

    Can I extract just one page?

    Yes. Enter the page number alone, for example 4, in the ranges box. It becomes a one-page PDF.

    Why do I get a zip file?

    When a split creates more than one file, the parts are packed in a zip so they download together. A single part downloads as a PDF.

    Can I split a password-protected PDF?

    Not directly. Remove the password in a PDF reader you trust first, then split the unlocked copy.
